VIOXX CLASS ACTION NEWS

The class action against Merck, the makers of VIOXX, is currently in the Claims Valuation process. Merck has agreed to participate in the settlement process. While all cases must be registered, only those claimants who’ve had a heart attack or stroke will be included in the actual settlement process.'

Claim package were submitted to the claims administrator and are being evaluated for purposes of determining whether or not the claim meets the requirements of injury, duration and proximity. If the claim meets these requirements, the claim is compensable. If the claim does not meet these requirements, retained counsel will have a deadline in which to submit additional documents in attempt to meet these requirements.
