MRGO CLASS ACTION NEWS

The class action for the Mississippi River – Gulf Outlet is a federal class against the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Plaintiffs are those whose homes and property were destroyed due to the MRGO during and after Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005. Thousands of homes were engulfed by the storm surge of waters brought in through the governmentally-funded and -built MRGO, including those in St. Bernard Parish, New Orleans East and the Upper and Lower 9th Wards.
